Along the line of using natural products to reduce acnes, Noxzema cream is a popular recomendation as a facial wash.
The main benefits of using Noxzema is that it's less drying than soap, does a good job of cleansing the pore and is not oily. It also give a cool feeling due to the menthol.
Noxzema cream has an interesting history - it was originally put together in the early 1900's and used as a remedy against sun-burn. This usage was a tag-line on the jar itself until the last decade. Noxzema contains three main ingredients: camphor, menthol, and eucalyptus.
Noxzema cream's fomula stayed relatively stable throughout the years. The Bunting family owned the brand until it was sold to Proter and Gamble. A moistured enhanced version was added in the last 10 years and is still in the market but it has not replaced the original formula in popularity.
In the early1990's Noxzema advertised the product with then relatively unknown Rebecca Gayheart - who became known as the Noxzema Girl and part of the popular culture lexicon and 1990's.

Natural Anti-Acnes Soap
To follow up on my previous blog on natural way to get rid of acnes Blog.
I am seeing more and more soap advertised as natural and capable of dealing with Acnes.
Most of these soaps are produced outside of the US. If any of you have use them and would like to share your thoughts, please leave comments.
Here's an example I found on advertising on Alibaba, it looks promising

Natural Solution for Acne Problem?
Acne is a problem afflict more than just teenagers - billions are spent each year. Are there natural solutions?
I believe so for most people. Other people might need over the counter or prescription medicines.
So what are the natural solutions. Here's my list:
1) Watch what you eat! Cut down on fat and sweet. Eat fresh fruits and vegetable.
2) Drink plenty of water and avoid sugary water - I don't want to name names but you know what they are.
3) Keep your face and afflicted area clear of oil. That means washing your
face often (at least once during the morning and afternoon).
Use a natural soap liked Ivory.
Use a natural soap liked Ivory.
For some, this might lead to dry skin, if that's the case, experience with a
different soap and use light moisturizer. Noxzema cream is a good substitute for Ivory - it is less drying.
4) Avoid make-up if possible. Make-up will clog up the pores.
5) Give that a try. For those who need an extra kick, try Oxy 10 Facial Wash or similiar cleanser.
